Even before graduating from high school, Chris knew he wanted to become a hands-on entrepreneur. He began working for a home renovator back in the mid 80‘s where he not only learnt many valuable building techniques, but also built up a well rounded knowledge base of many of the different trades. Shortly there after, he began a painting and renovating company that specialized both in commercial and residential projects.
This business thrived for over a decade before he realized his body could no longer handle the toll. Chris decided to change the focus of his company to deal strictly with general contracting for renovations and building additions.
Chris now spends his days coordinating, supervising and maintaining the quality of work done by BelVan’s field staff and sub trades. The knowledge he gained on previous jobs have all provided him with the ability to identify potential problem areas on projects and to plan the best way to structure the workflow in order to make each job flow as efficiently as possible.
Chris and his wife Karen spend most of evenings and weekends running around their two teenagers who have hopes of being “future sport superstars”. When time allows, the family cabin at Pigeon Lake beckons….
